Steven H. Pittleman, Esq.
president/Founder
Steven H. Pittleman, Esq. earned his J.D. from NYU School of Law and his B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon’s School of Fine Arts. After a prior career in professional theater, Steve began his legal career in the Entertainment and Sports Law Group of the Corporate Department at Proskauer Rose LLP. He then moved in house to be Film Division Counsel for United Artists. In 1985, Steve became one of the first attorneys, particularly with "big firm" and in house experience, to provide counsel to attorneys trying to make their own successful career choices. Since then, he has worked on more than 1,000 placements, ranging from placing the Chair of the Sports Industry Group at O'Melveny & Myers to the General Counsel of Chanel USA.
Linda J. Pittleman, Esq.
chairman/Founder
Linda J. Pittleman, Esq. graduated from NYU School of Law, where she was elected to the Moot Court Board, and summa cum laude from St. John’s University. After clerking for the Appellate Division of New York Supreme Court, she practiced commercial litigation and employment law at Solinger Grosz & Goldwasser (now Vedder, Price, Kaufman, Kammholz & Day), where she also coordinated attorney hiring for the firm.
Ms. Pittleman was elected to the Board of Education in Weston, Connecticut, and served as its Vice-Chairman. She oversees searches for corporations, commercial banks, and investment banks, placing numerous attorneys at all levels with prestige in-house departments including NBC, Goldman Sachs and American Express.

Team Methodology
Pittleman & Associates is uniquely organized to provide maximum service. Each candidate is assigned a personal recruiter who works in conjunction with Steve, taking advantage of his many years of placement experience. Linda works exclusively with employers other than law firms, such as investment banks, Fortune 500 companies, hedge funds and management and benefits consulting firms. The entire team is supported by our in-house research staff, which keeps our state-of-the-art database current with detailed information about employers and their personnel.
